Seismic Asia Pacific retails high quality marine grade Magnetometers that detect small magnetic sources on the earth’s surface. This equipment is towed either on its own or in conjunction with a side scan sonar to provide the surveyor simultaneous side scan and magnetic data. Magnetometers can be deployed from a small boat or ship operating to a maximum speed of 12 knots. Magnetometer applications include: Mineral and Oil Exploration, Archaeology, Route Survey’s, Geothermal Studies, Pipe and Cable Survey, Unexploded Ordinance, Shipwreck Search and Salvage, Geological Mapping and identification of Ferrous Objects (ie: Chains, anchors etc). Seismic Asia Pacific is able to offer clients a complete turn key Magnetometer system comprising tow fish, cables, winches, acquisition and post processing software.
