Founded in 1987, Mitcham Industries, Inc. is the largest independent lessor of seismic equipment in the world. We are engaged directly and through our wholly owned subsidiaries in the leasing of seismic equipment to the oil and gas industry on a worldwide basis. We are also engaged in the sale of new and used seismic equipment and in the design, manufacture and sale of marine seismic equipment.
We own a variety of technologically advanced equipment acquired from the leading seismic manufacturers. Our lease pool includes many types of equipment used in seismic data acquisition, including many electronic components of land, transition zone and marine seismic data acquisition systems, geophones and cables, earth vibrators, peripheral equipment, survey and other equipment.
